On the second day in Singapore we went to Sentosa island. We got to Sentosa island by catching a few metro trains then we walked to the island on the board walk. When we got there we took a few photos of the Universal globe then we walked to one of the beaches where we walked around. When we were walking to the swing bridge we saw some parrot, they had parrots of all colours. As we walked across the swing bridge I spotted a big star fish it was just lying in the shallows. When we got over the swing bridge we climbed one of the towers there was an amazing view this was the southern most point of continental Asia. After we climbed down the tower we went to one of the other beaches to see some sandcastles but it was crazy busy so we left the beach and Levi had some lunch while Reka and I waited to try something new to eat.
We walked back to the entrance where Reka and I got lunch. For lunch Reka got some nice noodles that had chicken, carrots, vegetables and more. For lunch I had some rice and spicy indian meat. It also had some nice vegetables that I don't know the name of. While we got lunch Levi and daddy bought tickets for us to go into the aquarium. The animals in the aquarium were so cool. These are some of the animals we saw dolphins, stingrays, Manta Rays, jellyfish, sharks and a whole lot of other fishes. Plus we solved the mystery of finding Nemo.
After the aquarium we went back on the metro except the girls did a bit of shopping first and the boys went back to the apartment to go swimming . When we got back Levi was already in bed reading. Reka and I still went into the pool even thought it was 9 o'clock when we went back inside we went straight to bed.

Day one
As we stepped out into the humid, hot and beautiful Singapore it all took us by surprise, coming from cold and wet Wellington into 30 degrees was very overwhelming. Nothing could've prepared us for this.
With the cool air conditioning in the taxi we could finally cool down. As we zoomed past the city we noticed the most peculiar thing. Every apartment had a Singapore flag hanging out the balcony, The taxi driver informed us that it was Singapore's golden jubilee tomorrow. That meant that our whole time in Singapore was a public holiday, That means everywhere would be busy, busy, busy. We checked into our Hotel but we couldn't go in our room yet. Our decision was easy. We were going to the Zoo, with all of us buzzing with excitement, we could absolutely not wait any longer. As we got our tickets and glanced at the map, we literally ran towards the entrance.
One of the first and one of my most favourite animals was the Malayan Tapir, It was like a massive anteater! There were so many fascinating and interesting animals like the Pygmy Hippos, Gavials, Polar Bears, Probiscus Monkeys and much much more! At about one there was an elephant show. It was amazing the elephants did all sorts of amazing tricks like putting on a hat, pushing really heavy logs, and "flying". After around four hours of tiring walking we left the amazing Singapore Zoo.
Next, SHOPPING. We walked for kilometres and kilometres in the never-ending mall, Two times I knew where we were going but my Dad insisted we go in a loop to get where we wanted to go. After that we had dinner at a Jamie Oliver Italian Restaurant, It was amazing! We got shake me salads and all of that smart stuff, it was so cool. After filling our stomachs we did more shopping, and we got some world famous Häagen Dazs ice cream which let me tell you was AMAZING! I had the cookie dough flavour and it was perfect. After that tiresome 16h with no sleep we walked back to the hotel and went to sleep.
A day well spent in Singapore!
